Hiawathaland Transit is operated by Three Rivers, and is available to everyone for any reason. People of all ages ride the bus to go places like school, work, grocery store, doctor's office, pharmacy, or library. The bus will transport anyone anywhere within city limits! There are even a few routes between cities. Contact Hiawathaland Transit for more information about specific services.

Hiawathaland Transit offers several types of services including:
- Route Deviation
- Dial-a-Ride (curb to curb)
People are served on a first come, first served basis, so make reservations 24 hours in advance if possible. Please indicate if wheelchair accomodations are required to the dispatcher when scheduling a trip.
Fares
Fares range from $1.25 to $1.75. One-way rides between service areas are $10. Punch passes and tokens can be purchased at local city halls. Please have correct change available when boarding the bus, drivers cannot make change.
The Fleet
All buses have two wheelchair positions. Remember, drivers are not able to assist passengers into homes or businesses, but if the passenger has an aide, that person can ride for free. Drivers are also trained to operate wheelchair lifts and devices, have criminal and driving background checks, Class A or B licenses, First Aid/CPR certifications, and defensive driving and passenger assistance training.
