Three Rivers Community Action is excited to announce a new childcare initiative at the Northfield Community Resource Center (NCRC). Together with our partners Healthy Community Initiative, Families First, and Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, we are working to address unmet childcare needs in the Northfield community.
Using a new partnership model, we are making classroom space available to individual business owners who are looking for space to run their licensed childcare business. Selected owner(s) will get high quality classroom space at an affordable rent, a starter kit of materials and supplies, business consulting services, and on-site support as they start their business.
We are hoping to implement this program initiative in other communities that we serve.
